Dr. Anupa Siddhu

Dr. Siddhus areas of work around Food and Nutrition including body composition and energy requirements, anthropometric growth assessment, age-related changes in work capacity, sports nutrition, clinical nutrition, prevention of low birth, stunting, obesity, diabetes and heart disease, food safety.

Dr. Sarita Anand

Professor Sarita Anand teaches at the Department of Development Communication and Extension, Lady Irwin College, University of Delhi, and is currently heading the department. She has been involved in teaching, research, and academic writing in the domains of Communication for Social Change and Gender and Development. Currently, she is also serving as the Centre Lead of ROSHNI- Centre of Women Collectives led Social Action.

Priyanka Saha

Consultant-Programme & Knowledge Management

Priyanka supports and conducts qualitative assessments, capacity building, programme roll out, monitoring and reporting. She has over 5 years of experience as a development sector professional. She has worked with community institutions in areas of livelihood, nutrition, gender, and entitlements for rural areas. Previously, she was Consultant at CASA and Senior Programme Associate at Madhyanchal Forum in New Delhi. She has obtained professional training at the NIRDPR and holds a Master's Degree in English Literature.

Shivangi Karmakar

Consultant-Programme & Knowledge Management

Shivangi assists with programme integration and rollout, capacity building, monitoring, and documentation. She holds a Master's degree in Development Communication from Lady Irwin College. She has previously worked in the areas of Information and Communication Technologies for Development (ICT4D). She has also supported research projects on anaemia and breast cancer at the John Hopkins Communication Centre for Change-India.

Hema Rawat

Consultant - Communications and Documentation

Hema supports communications and documentation work at ROSHNI-CWCSA. She has worked as a senior staff writer and correspondent in national dailies, including Hindustan Times and The Statesman, after working as city reporter in Asian News International, The Sun and Press Trust of India. She used to report on policy matters in education apart from development sector campaign of HT titled ‘You Read, They Learn’. She immersed herself into SEO writing, content curation for websites, outreach activities and digital marketing campaigns during her stint at Ritnand Balved Education Foundation (RBEF). She has earned Master of Arts in Rural Development. She is keen to engage in holistic programmes that empower women and children in rural communities.

Amit

Consultant - Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning

Amit supports Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning on FNHW and Gender in ROSHNI-CWCSA. He holds an MPhil in Development Practice. The titled of his MPhil project was ‘Transforming Life-worlds of Gond Male Youth: Working Through Lived-experiences, Subject Positions and Relationships’. He has over two years of hands-on experience working with Tribal communities in Chhattisgarh. His areas of interest include Action research, Qualitative Studies, Community Engagement, and Management Information Systems. Academically, he intends to explore Men and Masculinities, Feminine Disposition, and Subjectivity.

Devashish Biswal

Consultant - Communications and Documentation

Devashish supports knowledge management, communications and documentation tasks at ROSHNI-CWCSA. He has previously worked as a media consultant in narrative coordination and contributed as an author in the Village Square, India. He has been awarded with the coveted Village Square fellowship where he had extensively covered positive and success stories from Odisha and Jharkhand in the areas of gender, education, climate and celebration of tribal culture.
