Dr. Anupa Siddhu

Director Lady Irwin College, Delhi University and Chairperson, ROSHNI

Dr. Siddhus areas of work around Food and Nutrition including body composition and energy requirements, anthropometric growth assessment, age-related changes in work capacity, sports nutrition, clinical nutrition, prevention of low birth, stunting, obesity, diabetes and heart disease, food safety.

Dr. Sarita Anand

Associate Professor, Department of Development Communication and Extension and Lead, ROSHNI

Dr Anand has taken on research on health and survival of girl children. She has worked with NCW and NGOs working on Gender and Development issues and has been involved in Communication strategy design initiatives for health and education of young girls for collaborative projects with bilateral agencies.

Monica has worked in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh supporting implementation of health and nutrition behavior change interventions, as well as evaluation studies through women collectives.

Ankita Kumari

Research Fellow

Ankita supports communications and data collection for ongoing research at the centre. Her interest areas are in the field of participatory communication, studying social and development issues through gender lens. As a performing artist herself, she has done collaborations in use of traditional media for addressing social issues and she continues to engage more with this.

Bhavna is a post-graduate student of Development Communication and Extension at Lady Irwin College. She is interested in research in the area of gender. She is also passionate about designing effective communication aids and IEC materials. Prior to working at ROSHNI, she has worked in urban settlements of Delhi and rural Rajasthan



Dileesha is pursuing an MSc in Development Communication and Extension from Lady Irwin College, University of Delhi. She is interested in research work on gender and understanding how this impacts nutrition. She has earlier interned with grassroots organisations like Gravis and Kriti.



Riddhi is a final year student at Lady Irwin College, University of Delhi, currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Development Communication and Extension. She is always and keenly involved in content creation for digital media, ICT4D, participatory research and behaviour change communication. She is passionate about gender related issues, such as masculinities, feminism and voicing for LGBTQIA+ Community rights.
